Tony is a passionate visionary in regards to equality of patient care across borders and cultures. He founded One-World in 2001 on this principle and the philosophy drives the company today.
Originally from a farming family in rural Virginia, his strong independent work ethic and down-to-earth style have translated well in developing his entrepreneurial visions. Tony’s curiosity in other cultures has taken him to many countries where he has witnessed the effects of limited access to proper treatment. More so, as a stage IV cancer survivor he has personally experienced the distress of such a diagnosis. He was educated at the University of South Carolina and subsequently completed an International Management Program at the Southern Center for International Studies. He has served on numerous boards and is an avid outdoorsman in his free time.
Michele oversees the day-to-day operations of multiple departments. She has been with OWI since its inception in 2001 and knows the business inside out.
Prior to joining OWI, Michele spent many years in the healthcare industry working as an administrator in physician offices and as an Emergency Medical Technician.
Richard has been supervising OWI’s finance unit and acting as financial spokesperson for the company for over a decade.
He has more than 40 years of diversified business management experience as well as extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and international environments. Prior to joining OWI, Richard was part of the executive management teams at MediSphere Health Partners, SoloPak Pharmaceuticals, and Stiefel Laboratories. He earned a BA in Accounting from Florida State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as a licensed Florida CPA.
Scott’s 30+ years in the pharmaceutical industry have provided him a wide array of knowledge. He specializes in supply chain management with a focus on logistics, regulatory compliance, policies, procedures, and training.
His extensive experience was garnered during his years with Hospira, Pfizer and Abbott Laboratories where he served in many distinct roles. He was responsible for controlled drug product management and overseeing facility audits from the U.S. DEA. Served as an export manager specializing in the packing and shipping of temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals. Scott is competent in cGMP, DEA, FDA, CFR49, DOT, IATA regulations.
Katy is instrumental in developing OWI’s business strategy by identifying new opportunities in the marketplace. Over twelve years with the company she plays a significant role in building a strong sales team
After earning her Baccalaureate in Alzey, Germany she completed a degree in hospitality management from the IHK in Frankfurt. In 2008, Katy moved to Atlanta to pursue an international management program and soon joined OWI. Being fluent in three languages she excels in building strong relationships with clients all over the world.
Toni brings over 25 years of diverse business experience working in both public and privately held companies, managing multiple international and domestic offices. With a foundation from years at Ernst and Young, LLP to business partner with an international IT company, she has developed strong business acumen. She wears many hats at One-World, focused on building team talent, encouraging innovation, and leading process improvement directives.
